Materials used in the Model

These 4 designs were used for the partitions in Banksy's studio. The image I chose of Banksy's work, is a black and white painting of a man who looks rejected. There are flowers in his hand, and they have been painted in colour - red, yellow, blue and pink.

I used this for the partitions in David Malangi's studio.

The entrance to the gallery from David Malangi's studio has this design on it.

The design on the exterior stairs.

The design on the stairs which go up to Banksy's studio.

The material used for the soil.

I used this for the landscape, to show its greenery.

A piece of art by Banksy, in the gallery, being admired by a woman.

Stairs

I've used 3 differnt types of stairs.

1. The stairs that go up to the gallery from David Malangi's studio.

These stairs are multi purpose. They serve as shelves as well.

This is the view of the stairs from the gallery.

2. The stairs that come down to the gallery from Banksy's studio.

3. The stairs that lead to THE EGG. (Exterior stairs)

Final Model (Images)

The 2 artists I chose are David Malangi and Banksy.

My final model - THE EGG.
The EGG is short for 'The Ethnic Graffiti Gallery'. 'Ethnic', for Malangi's beautiful aborginal art. Banksy is a well known 'Graffiti' artist. And the space where they both showcase their work - the 'Gallery'!

A cross-section view of THE EGG. The space below is David Malangi's studio. The one above is Banksy's studio, and the gallery is the space in between!

Draft Model

This is the sketch I did, which my model is based on.

This is the basic shape of the model I created. - An egg!

The model after creating the landscape. It is surrounded by mountains on one side, and valleys on the other.

Eyeing

The young lady in this picture (according to me), has the most beautiful eyes - black and big. People might think I'm saying that because shes my relative, but this picture draws so much attention to her eyes. They speak a completely different language of expressions. I love the way most of the picture is in black and white, and only her scarf is in a very subtle shade of blue, which adds to the beauty of this picture.
